In the private ward of a hospital, four girls of advanced age struggle with very different signs of decline: Doris (Angelika Mann), whose pension is not enough to live on and barely enough to die on, Gaby (Franziska Becker), who wants to arm herself against younger competition with a cosmetic overhaul, Tanja (Nini Stadlmann), who is expecting a child shortly before the end of her childbearing years, and Viola (Heike Jonca), whose memory is unfortunately as unreliable as the elasticity under her chin.
With heart, hits, and cheeky wit, the quartet of ladies turns aging into a heavenly celebration of life and friendship!
