Visit the beautiful Wallpavillon of the Dresden Zwinger and listen to the great classics at a magical New Year’s Eve concert. Ever since the kings held their celebrations in the Dresden Residenz, music has played an important role in the Zwinger both outside as well as inside its many resonant halls.
Many of the best orchestras in the world have made their music here as guests and countless famous musicians have enjoyed the rich acoustics in an elegant ambiance.
It is in this tradition that the Dresden Residenz Orchestra presents classical hits, dreamy waltzes, and the most beautiful operetta melodies. The most beautiful waltzes by Johann Strauss and Franz Léhar invite you to dance, clap and hum along.

The toilets are located outside the concert hall on the mezzanine floor to the wall pavilion and can only be reached by stairs.

Wallpavillon Zwinger Dresden
Dresdner Zwinger, Theaterplatz, 01067 Dresden.... The Wallpavillon is part of the baroque building complex of the Dresden Zwinger. Allow time for walking, the concert hall cannot be reached by car. From the restaurant “Alte Meister”, Theaterplatz 1a, take a short walk up the stairs up the so called "Wall".
Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the concert.
