After our visit to the Botanical Garden, we continue our journey into the majestic mountains of Chania. Our route will take us to an altitude of 1,250 meters, reaching the entrance of the Samaria National Park.

Here, we pause to admire the wild beauty of the mountain peaks, with the highlight being Gigilos Mountain, towering at 2,080 meters—a spectacular viewpoint offering unforgettable images and a deep connection with Crete’s untamed nature.

Now, the adventure truly begins! Leaving the paved road behind, our 4×4 Jeep ventures off-road, navigating through hidden trails known to few. We will cross a lush landscape rich in flora and fauna, uncovering the authentic and rugged beauty of Crete.

Our journey leads us to the picturesque village of Zounaki, where a unique culinary experience awaits. We will visit a local brewery, discover the secrets of Cretan beer-making, and enjoy a tasting of four different craft beers.

We conclude our day with a traditional Cretan lunch, the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable adventure filled with nature, flavors, and the essence of authentic Crete.
