On this tour, we will explore the Temple of Guadalupe, known as "La Villa", built in the 17th century by the architect Pedro de Arrieta. It receives about 20 million pilgrims a year. The Virgin of Guadalupe is a fundamental religious and cultural symbol for Mexico, worshipped not only in the country, but throughout Latin America. Her feast day on December 12 is of great relevance, commemorating her apparitions to the indigenous Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin and his uncle Juan Bernardino on the Cerro del Tepeyac.
