This is a journey to the past and present times.
This tour is about only your group in the car, ( PRIVATE CAR) so makes the experience curated to your needs.
Or Solo traveller.
Begin your journey in Alicante city center, where you'll meet your guide and set off on a scenic drive to the Canelobre Caves ( 30 min. drive)
Explore the Jurassic caves Canelobre, that shaped your guide's childhood stories and legends.
Depending on the arrival time, you might skip the group tour and have a private tour with your guide.
Next, head to your guide's hometown, Busot, ( 10 min. drive)
Parking or scenic drive along the small town. Learn visit or admire about Muslim 11 c. castle remains. You will know all about the Moors & Christians heritage.
Time for a break? ..Fancy a pastry of a local owen?
In Busot also, visit the City Hall square and visit admire from outside one of the oldest 15 c. churches of the area and stroll along quaint typical streets of the mountain villages. Another option is stopping at the Museum Colection of Ethnic music instruments from the 5 continents, donated by musicologist Carlos Blanco Fadol, guide´s friend.
Continue the tour to the coast to discover ancient Iberian, Carthagenean remains, and Roman fisheries in El Campello, the Queen’s Baths (Baños de la Reina), where your guide took their first Mediterranean swimming lessons and heard queen legends. ( 15 min drive)
Stop in the beautiful fishing village for shopping, a nice walk, or tapas.
Optionally*, if arriving by 6:00 PM to witness a public heritage fishing auction organized by the town hall.
El Campello fishing traditions & pictures by defensive 16 century tower
We will finish our tour with a scenic coastal drive back to Alicante. The tour will end at your city center place or by the Postiguet beach. For other pick ups please ask.

Caves can be appreciated from rail viewpoints if avoiding stairs down. I have permission to tour the content not following the group from the cave. The cave have public entrances every hour or so. Sometimes if available I can tour my group privately. I can not assure because depends on their groups conditions. But Since I am a local, and oficial license guide, I am normally allow to do it. Disclaimer: I always try and if I can do it I will. But if we need to join the regular tour we have to follow their rules.
Suitable for walkers, wheelchairs and guests preferring minimal walking. Please ask so I can bring a vehicule that fits your accesible instruments.
Optional private heritage fishing auction at 18:00 : This is: when the tour starts at 15 or 16 hours we could focus in attending the auction in Campello market, having less time in the other stops. We could customize it.
Cars are 2 and a half seats normally in Spain in the back. If you do not mind to seat 3 in the back please ask.

- Food: Maybe a pastry ( 2-4 eur) in a boulangery and water bottle if available upon client decision. Maybe tapas if you like to stop by. Or paella or seafood ( ask we would need extra time to eat)
