From Valencia: Cuenca and the Enchant city

Let’s visit two wonders of region of Castilla - La Mancha. Magical masterpiece of the nature.
In this excursion we will discover 2 points of high tourist interest. We will visit the mysterious natural park and the most emblematic city in this region.

Day plan:
- We will leave for a trip early in the morning
- Our first stop will be in The Enchanted City (La Ciudad Encantada)
- Afterwards we will go to Cuenca but before arriving we will make a stop at the Ventano del Diablo: amasing views ...
- In Cuenca we are going to visit the city and admire its famous Hanging Houses
- We will return to Valencia for dinner time

The Enchanted City (La Ciudad Encantada) is an impressive natural setting. It is a karst landscape, where erosion and the passage of time have shaped the rocks creating a unique landscape. The unique orography of this place and, above all, the original rock formations that we find in the Enchanted City have given it the qualification of "living museum of geology".

Its formation began 250 million years ago in the Mesozoic era. The Serranía de Cuenca was submerged under the Tetis Sea and sediments began to be deposited on the sea floor that ended up giving rise to calcareous sedimentary rocks called dolomites. You cannot miss the opportunity to visit that park!
The city of Cuenca was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and it's medieval city centre consists of a rich architectural heritage that is extremely well preserved. In fact, a large part of this historical place is a viewpoint for the sickles of the two rivers which thrive in the rich natural surroundings.

Among the most outstanding monuments we will see are the Casas Colgadad, civil houses from the 15th century that defy gravity situated on the edge of the cliff, the metal bridge of San Pablo of 1902 and the Cathedral, one of the earliest examples of the gothic style in Spain.
