Have you ever dreamed of exploring the underwater world? With Dreamchasers Diving, you can turn that dream into reality! Our Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience is designed for beginners with no prior scuba diving experience, offering a safe, exciting, and unforgettable introduction to the ocean.
What to Expect
1. Safety Briefing & Introduction to Scuba
Your experience begins with a friendly introduction to scuba diving, where a certified Divemaster or Instructor will guide you through the basics. We’ll explain how the scuba equipment works, cover important safety rules, and teach you key hand signals used underwater. No prior experience is needed—just a sense of adventure!
2. Shallow Water Training
Before heading into the open sea, you'll practice essential scuba skills in a shallow, controlled environment. This helps you get comfortable with breathing underwater, clearing your mask, and using your equipment properly. Our experienced team will ensure you feel relaxed and confident before your dive.
3. Guided Open Water Dive
Once you're ready, it’s time for the real adventure! We’ll take you on a guided dive at a stunning dive site in the north of Mauritius, where you’ll explore vibrant coral reefs, swim alongside tropical fish, and experience the magic of the underwater world. Your Divemaster or Instructor will be with you throughout the dive to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
4. Optional GoPro Photos & Videos
Want to capture your first dive forever? We offer high-quality GoPro photos and videos as an optional add-on. Take home incredible underwater memories to share with family and friends.
5. Wrap-Up & Debrief
After the dive, we’ll return to shore for a relaxed debrief. You’ll receive feedback on your dive and have time to ask any questions about scuba diving. If you loved the experience, we’ll be happy to guide you on the next steps to becoming a certified diver!

We’ll meet at the last parking area of Mont Choisy Public Beach, located when heading north along the coastal road. It’s a spacious spot just before the beach curves toward the Pointe aux Canonniers area. Look for the shaded parking under the large trees—it’s a popular and easy-to-find meeting point. From there, we’ll walk a short distance to the dive center to begin your experience.
