It is a special activity designed for Diwali – the festival of lights. You may already have some knowledge of this beautiful festival, but experiencing it like a local can be incredibly exciting. Once you make the booking, you will be contacted by your host, who will explain the location and how to reach their home, where you will be warmly welcomed into a partially decorated house. Upon your arrival, you will be served light snacks along with masala tea or your choice of soda beverages.

You will then have the chance to assist the host with decorations and subsequently visit a local temple to witness the prayer rituals. Upon returning, you will participate in lighting traditional lamps and candles. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn how to prepare an Indian snack and enjoy a delightful high tea featuring a variety of special snacks and sweets. As the evening progresses, you can enjoy some fireworks.

Later on, you will have the chance to learn how to prepare 1-2 dishes in a local kitchen. You can assist in setting the table for your dinner, which you will then enjoy. Finally, you will depart between 10 PM and 11 PM.
