Ready for an adventure? This trip takes you to the stunning Tumpak Sewu Waterfall—one of East Java’s real showstoppers. You’ll see the waterfall from above and below, splash around in Telaga Biru pond, and even climb into the hidden Goa Tetes cave. We’ve got all your entry tickets and a local guide covered, so you can just enjoy the ride.

What to Expect:
You’ll hike down about 250 meters to the base of the waterfall, then climb back up to the parking lot on sturdy concrete stairs
Closed shoes are a must—trust us, your feet will thank you

Here’s How Your Day Looks:
We’ll get started between 5:00 and 8:00 AM—up to you, but early birds get the best experience. We’ll pick you up wherever you’re staying in Malang or Surabaya (city center, train station, you name it).

The drive itself is part of the fun. For two to three hours you’ll watch the city melt into green countryside and twisty mountain roads, with glimpses of local markets and villages along the way.

First stop: the breathtaking top view of Tumpak Sewu. On a clear day, you might spot a rainbow in the mist, and if you’re lucky, Mount Semeru looming in the background. Take it all in—it’s one of those views you won’t forget.

Next, we head down. Hundreds of steps and rocky paths lead you right into the heart of the canyon. Down here, the waterfall feels massive. The cliffs rise up around you, and the spray cools you off while you snap some epic photos.

Afterward, we make our way to Telaga Biru. This little pond, rebuilt after a big flood in 2023, is just the spot to catch your breath or take a quick swim.

But the adventure isn’t over. For the grand finale, you’ll climb a steel ladder and some stone steps to reach Goa Tetes—a hidden cave decked out in limestone and tiny waterfalls. It’s off the beaten path and definitely worth the effort.

When you’re ready, we’ll head back up to the parking area, where you can change into dry clothes and freshen up before the drive home.
