Join us for a unique experience that combines Sicilian agricultural tradition with the magic of Etna wines. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to discover two of Sicily's most renowned gastronomic delights: Bronte PDO green pistachios and typical Etna wines. Our tour includes a guided visit to the heart of Sicily, with tastings that will allow you to experience the true essence of the island.

Details of the experience:
1. Pick-up and departure

We will depart at 9:30 a.m. from your accommodation in Catania. Comfortable transportation will take you to the first stop of the day, on a journey that will allow you to admire the Sicilian landscape in all its beauty.

2. Guided visit to the Bronte Pistachio Grove
Once we arrive at the historic farmhouse, our tour will begin. We will welcome you with a brief introduction to the history and territory of the area. You will then take a walk through the pistachio grove, where you will discover how the famous Bronte PDO Green Pistachio grows and develops, from its initial stages to harvest, with detailed explanations of the agricultural methods that
make this pistachio unique in the world.

3. Tasting of typical products
At the end of the visit, we will move to the courtyard of the old house for a tasting of homemade products:
Whole shelled pistachios.
Homemade bread with oil produced by the Nocellara Etnea farm.
Bread with Bronte PDO pistachio pesto, accompanied by stracciatella cheese and sun-dried tomatoes.
Bread with Bronte PDO pistachio pesto and Nebrodi black pork mortadella.
Sicilian brioche with pistachio cream filling.
Bronte PDO pistachio ice cream.
Fresh water to accompany the tasting.
4. Visit to the Etna Winery
Next, we will head to the Etna winery, a place that offers breathtaking views of the vineyards cultivated on the slopes of the volcano. Here, an expert guide will accompany you on a tour of the vineyards and local winemaking techniques, which are influenced by the volcano's unique microclimate. You will discover the unique grape varieties grown on these fertile soils.
5. Etna wine tasting
In the winery, you will enjoy a tasting of four Etna wines, paired with a platter of typical Sicilian products, such as cold cuts, cheeses, and fresh bread. Each wine will be presented with a detailed explanation of its characteristics and production techniques.
6. Return to Catania
Our tour will end with the return to Catania, where you will be taken back to your accommodation with a wealth of new knowledge and flavors to remember.
