Walk through this ancient Roman burial ground and follow the footsteps of the first Christians to the most sacred site of all: the Tomb of Saint Peter, located directly beneath the High Altar. This rare and powerful experience reveals the origins of Christianity and offers a unique glimpse into a place few visitors are ever allowed to see.
After emerging from the underground, you will enter St. Peter’s Basilica through a dedicated skip-the-line entrance. Inside, your expert guide will lead you through the world’s largest church, unveiling its extraordinary art, history, and symbolism. Admire Michelangelo’s Pietà, gaze at the monumental altars, and take in the overwhelming beauty of the vast Baroque interior that has inspired pilgrims for centuries.

The tour is not wheelchair accessible and for guests with mobility impairments.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
All participants must carry a valid identification document (passport or ID) to enter the sites. Entry may be denied without a valid document, with no refund.
Dress Code:
A strict dress code applies for places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops are allowed. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women.
Dome Access:
The Dome requires climbing a spiral staircase of approximately 320 steps. Stairs cannot be skipped.
Meeting Time & No-Show:
Guests must arrive 15 minutes before departure. Late arrivals cannot join or reschedule unless the tour is purchased again. No refunds for no-shows.
Closures & Refunds:
Closures due to weather, security, or official events are beyond our control. No refunds for unused tickets. Partial refunds may be requested if the Basilica closes unexpectedly.
Piazza Papa Pio XII, 9 – in front of the Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi office (near St. Peter’s Square), where the guide will be waiting for the group.
Participants are required to attend a mandatory meeting 30 minutes before the scheduled tour departure time due to organizational and security procedures required for access to the Vatican Necropolis.
Guests arriving after the meeting time will not be able to join the group or reschedule the visit. According to the No-Show policy, late arrivals are not eligible for a refund.
Although entrance tickets are reserved with a specific time slot, the visit schedule may occasionally be delayed.
The Necropolis, St. Peter’s Basilica/Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel are managed directly by the Vatican, and any schedule adjustments are beyond our control.
