Begin your Dolomites day tour by getting picked up at Venice's Piazzale Roma, the large square in the city center.
First stop will be in Lake Auronzo to enjoy a photo stop at the lake dam where you can sometimes see the water rushing through gates.
Afterward, enjoy a stop at Lake Misurina, also known as the “Pearl of the Dolomites”. The lake offers mirror-like reflections of iconic peaks like the Sorapiss group, Cadini, and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
Next, head to the most famous lake of the Dolomites: Lake Braies, a vibrant emerald lake enclosed by massive rock faces, iconic for its wooden pier and vintage rowing boats. The walk around the lake is widely considered the most accessible and visually rewarding short walk in the Dolomites.
Last, visit Cortina d'Ampezzo, the village that hosted the Olympic Winter Games in 1956 and 2026. Have a walk through the most prestigious and well-known street of the Dolomites, the Corso Italia pedestrian area.
This tour will end at the meeting point in Venice in the evening but the memories will last a lifetime!
