Experience a traditional Maiko performance in Kyoto. Enjoy a light snack and tea, take part in a Q&A session, and play a traditional Japanese game with the Maiko.
Begin your experience by meeting your host in front of the theater. Head inside and take your seat for the show. Watch as the Maiko performs a traditional dance lasting around 10 minutes, the usual length of most Maiko performances.
After 2 dances (each about 5 minutes), there will be time for a Q&A, photo-taking, and a chance to play a traditional Japanese game with her.
Enjoy a light snack and tea as you take in the performance. Learn about the history and culture of the Maiko from your host.
