Discover Osaka’s cultural roots on a walking tour accompanied by a local host. This is not a self-guided tour—the audio guide is an additional feature. You’ll explore two iconic landmarks—Shitennoji Temple and Osaka Castle—enhanced by a multilingual audio guide created by Japanese locals. Available in English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, and Japanese, the guide streams easily to your smartphone using free WiFi.
Your host will introduce each major location in simple English before you explore further at your own pace through the audio commentary.
The tour begins in the Tennoji area, where you’ll visit three peaceful spots in Chausuyama (within Tennoji Park), then view the Buddhist statues at Sanzenbutsudo Hall of Isshinji Temple. At Shitennoji Temple, you'll explore nine important locations, including the outer areas of the Central Complex.
Next, transfer via subway (Tanimachi Line, fare not included) from Shitennoji-mae Yuhigaoka Station to Tanimachi 4-chome Station, assisted by your host.
In Osaka Castle Park, you'll visit 26 historic sites and scenic viewpoints, including excellent photo spots of the Osaka Castle Main Tower’s exterior. Discover hidden landscapes and local perspectives not found in guidebooks, offering a deeper appreciation of Osaka’s rich history.
Please note: Depending on the selected option, the tour's starting time, meeting location, end point, and total duration may vary. Each option offers a tailored experience focusing on different highlights of the city.

Meeting point is in front of the JR Ticket Office where is ground level of JR Tennoji Station. A Japanese guide is standing with bringing a blue file in there.
