Begin your adventure with a convenient hotel pickup in Phnom Penh, then head west toward Kirirom National Park. Sitting high on a cool, forested plateau, Kirirom is famous for its rare pine woodland and wide-open panoramas of the Cardamom Mountains.

On arrival, set off on a guided trek that blends primary jungle trails with stretches of pine forest. As the landscape changes underfoot, you’ll follow ranger paths deeper into the park and learn about the plants and ecosystems that make this area so distinctive.

One of the highlights is a cliffside viewpoint overlooking the Cardamoms—an ideal spot to pause, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and take photos. From here, continue downhill through lush scenery toward a secluded waterfall hidden within the Chambok Ecotourism Community area.

After emerging from the forest trails, enjoy a well-earned local lunch prepared and served by the Chambok Ecotourism Community. Refueled, continue exploring the jungle landscape, keeping an eye out for wildlife and listening for the rich birdlife that thrives in the canopy.

Finish the day with a visit to a bat cave and one last sweeping viewpoint before the journey back. Return to Phnom Penh, or choose the flexibility of a transfer onward to Sihanoukville, Kampot, or Koh Kong province.
