The route covers approximately 28 km round trip with over 1,500 meters of elevation gain, typically taking 10–12 hours to complete. Starting from the Rubble Creek parking lot, the trail begins with a steady climb through lush forest before easing into flatter terrain on the way toward Garibaldi Lake and Taylor Meadows.
In late summer and early fall, the meadows come alive with vibrant alpine wildflowers, adding incredible color to the landscape. The final ascent to Panorama Ridge includes some scrambling and delivers sweeping panoramic views of turquoise lakes, glaciers, and rugged mountain ranges, one of the most photographed in BC.
