Day 1: Nairobi - Sweetwaters/Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart Nairobi in the morning and continue north, driving through lush tea and coffee estates to Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, which was established to shelter orphaned chimpanzees and a black rhinoceros. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Sweetwater's Camp or similar. The nature reserve, which is a private reserve, has beautiful views across the plains to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya and has an abundance of wildlife and tropical vegetation.
Day 2 Sweetwaters/Ol Pejeta – Nairobi.
Go game hunting at Ol Pejeta Conservancy early in the morning. The nature reserve boasts an astonishing diversity of animals, including all of the "big five" (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion). After breakfast, departure by road to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon.
