From Nairobi: 2-Day Lake Nakuru and Naivasha Private Safari

Discover and explore 2 lakes famous for wildlife and bird-life attractions and experience a sailing adventure to crescent island located at Lake Naivasha.
Day 1. Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
our driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel, residence or airport. Then you have a short trip briefing before embarking on your 2 Days safari to the lakes. Your trip will begin with Lake Nakuru national Park. It’s going to be an exciting journey as you make stops on the way for photos and maybe admire the curios & other artifacts sold by the local vendors en-route.

One of the stops will be at the Rift valley view point to admire the escarpment. The valley stretches from the Red Sea and cuts through countries to Mozambique in the south. Continue with your scenic drive to arrive in Lake Nakuru in time for lunch.

Afternoon game drive which will take you to the shores of this Great Rift Valley Lake. There shall be possible Rhino sighting in this park during your extensive and most rewarding game viewing. Flamingos and other Pelicans are abundant together with other wildlife in this lake. Possible wild Animals to be seen include Rhino, Giraffe, Warthog, Lion, Leopard, Baboon and many more.

Day 2. Lake Nakuru -Lake Naivasha- Nairobi
On this day after breakfast depart from Lake Nakuru National Park and drive to Lake Naivasha. Another destination for more exploration.
Get to experience a boat safari across the lake as we sail past hippos, bird-life and perhaps spot grazing zebra and antelope on the shore. But also keep an eye out for buffalo, eland, impala and occasionally… leopard. Then, we’ll take a special trip to nearby Crescent Island Game Sanctuary – a beautiful private reserve that is filled with animals, mostly gentle grazers. The Sanctuary’s naturalist will take us on a guided walking safari to view the herds of wildebeest, water buck, zebra, gazelle and more.
Later drive to one of the Lake Naivasha lodges or camp for hot Lunch. There after drive back to Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon.
