Meet your guide at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi and head to the matatu terminus. Catch a 40-minute matatu ride from the city center to Umoja. Enjoy the loud music, take pictures, and mingle with some of the locals on the ride.
Arrive in Umoja and take a 20-minute walking tour through a busy market. Stop from time to time to try some street food. Head to a local hotel to further explore Kenyan traditional cuisine such as ugali, chapati, and sukuma wiki at your own expense.
