Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment, with spectacular views of the valley floor below. Arrive at Lake Naivasha, a serene freshwater lake fringed by papyrus and acacia trees, famous for its resident hippos and prolific birdlife.

After lunch, enjoy a boat ride on the lake to observe hippos at close range and watch fish eagles dive for their prey. Visit Crescent Island, a private sanctuary where you can walk freely among wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and gazelles. The experience is unique — no fences, no vehicles, just you and nature on foot.

Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge by the lake, soaking in the tranquility as the sun sets behind the Mau Escarpment. Overnight at a Naivasha lodge or camp.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife sanctuaries. Known as the “birdwatchers’ paradise,” Lake Nakuru is home to both greater and lesser flamingos that tint the lake pink when water levels are favorable. The park is also a rhino sanctuary, giving you the chance to see both black and white rhinos up close, as well as Rothschild giraffes
Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park, exploring the acacia woodlands, the beautiful Baboon Cliff viewpoint, and the shores of the lake. Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Lake Bogoria
