Embark on a day trip to Parque General Diaz and hike to the Cerro Vera waterfalls. Enjoy a flat walk of about 4 kilometers and be picked up from your accommodation in Asuncion.
Be picked up from your accommodation in Asuncion and travel to Parque General Diaz. Less than 60 kilometers from Asunción, a heavenly place to visit, easily accessible.
The waterfall itself is about 2 kilometers from Gral. Díaz camp, then we walk about 1 Hour to reach the stream with its crystal-clear waters and small waterfalls.
This is a totally natural area. It has no infrastructure, no toilets, no canteens. It's a place to connect with nature and listen to the birdsong.
I recommend bringing everything you need to have a good time: plenty of cold water for the journey, sun cream and something light to eat, as there's nowhere to buy anything in the vicinity.
Recommended for children over 8 because of the walk to the creek.
