Join a guided day trip to learn about the Apostle Paul's time on the island of Malta.
After pickup from your hotel, drive to Rabat and visit St. Paul’s Grotto, where the Apostle Paul is said to have lived for three months. Follow your guide on a walk through the narrow winding streets of Rabat and admire its early medieval architecture.
You will then visit St. Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina. Marvel at the splendor of the art works inside the temple and hear about the role of St. Publius as the first bishop ordained by Apostle Paul. Then enjoy free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, the bus will continue to St. Paul’s Bay, where it is claimed the Apostle Paul arrived on the island during a large storm in 60 AD. Join a narrated walk and listen to your guide as they talk about the historical events in the early Christian era after the Apostle Paul's death.
