Climb aboard a small boat at Pointe Jérome and cross to the coral island of Ile aux Aigrettes. Marvel at the flora and fauna once considered on the verge of extinction on a 1.5 to 2-hour hike with the rangers. Look for wildlife, such as giant tortoise and ornate day gecko.
After visiting Ile aux Aigrettes, spend time at Blue Bay Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Next, explore the La Vanille Nature reserve, and see a variety of species of birds, tortoises, and insectarium and much more. End the day by watching the waves crash on the rugged South coast, and explore the rock formations at Gris Gris and La Roche qui Pleure.
