Your first cultural stop takes you to one of Mauritius’ finest colonial houses, built in 1872 and among the first residences on the island to have electricity. Explore the beautifully preserved estate and stroll through its botanical gardens, home to camphor trees, exotic plants, and endemic species. Visit the nursery and estate grounds, and enjoy some free time at the boutique.

The journey continues at Mauritius’ oldest tea plantation, where you will learn about the island’s rich tea-making heritage. Visit the Tea Museum, walk through endless green tea fields, and enjoy a tea tasting session while admiring stunning views over the estate.

Next, head to one of Mauritius’ most iconic heritage estates, surrounded by sugarcane fields and tropical gardens. Discover La Maison du Rhum and enjoy a guided tasting of locally produced agricultural rums.

Taste fresh sugarcane juice straight from the source, then explore La Maison de la Vanille to learn how vanilla pods are cultivated and transformed.
