Make your own .925 silver ring from scratch in the workshop of designer Carlos Garza, in the heart of the historic center of Mexico City. Unlike tourist workshops that provide pre-prepared wire, here you start with pure .999 silver and make the alloy yourself until you obtain the .925 fineness — the real process of a professional jeweler.

Under the personal guidance of Carlos Garza, you will go through every stage of the manufacturing process: measuring, alloying, rolling, cutting, shaping, soldering, filing, texturing, sanding, and polishing. Each technique is part of the traditional craft of Mexican jewelry, and you will learn it with real tools in a functioning workshop, not in a makeshift space for visitors.

No previous experience is required. You'll receive technical support throughout the process, allowing you to focus on the design and finish of your piece. At the end, you take home a unique .925 silver ring made by your own hands — and the practical knowledge of how a precious metal is transformed into a finished piece of jewelry.

The final ring is made of .925 sterling silver, made by you from .999 pure silver alloy during the workshop.
The experience takes place in a working jewelry workshop in the historic center of Mexico City.
The experience takes place at: Av. Independencia 72, Interior 703, Centro Histórico, Cuauhtémoc, 06050, Mexico City. By Uber or taxi, enter "Av. Independencia 72" as your destination. Upon arrival, enter the building and go to Interior 703. By Metro The closest station is Metro Juárez, approximately a 5-minute walk away. You can also arrive via Metro Hidalgo. By Metrobús: The closest station is Metrobús Juárez, a few minutes' walk from the building. Upon arrival, enter the building and take the elevator up to Interior 703. If you have any difficulty finding the location, please send me a message and I will be happy to help. Important: The Historic Center may have occasional road closures due to events or demonstrations. I recommend that you allow a few extra minutes for your arrival.
