The Little known Cantona was a pedestrian walled city of 2.6 km2, densely populated, dating back to 200 BC.
Before visiting the site, you will taste the traditional ceremonial Aztec cacao beverages to enhance your experience related to Mexico’s pre-Hispanic cultures and pamper your soul. Cacao had an unequaled value within the Aztec culture and magic. It was a gift from the gods to men and allowed communication between men and divinity.
I will guide you through the maze of avenues, streets and narrow alleys that connect housing complexes with temples, “tlachtli” ball games and patios for ceremonies and sacrifices. You will climb several pyramids, especially the Mirador Pyramid at the end of the city from which you will get an exceptional view on the valley and the Citlaltépetl "Star Mountain", the highest elevation in all of Mexico. I will explain you how all pyramids are orientated according to the movement of the sun. A mysterious, extraordinary and magical city to visit.

You will then visit the “pueblo magico’ (magical town) Cholula and its Great Pyramid Tlachihualtepetl, the largest pyramid in the world by volume, with a base of 439 meters on each side. The construction of the pyramid dates back to 500 B.C. and more levels were progressively added. When the Spaniards built the Church of Our Lady of Remedies on top of the pyramid, they thought it was just a hill as the pyramid has been abandoned for 700 years and was totally covered by vegetation. Get bewildered by the impressive view on El Popocatépetl, one of the three most active volcanoes in the world.

I am also linguist and I will show you how the names in Nahuatl, the language of the Nahuas (The Aztecs), are formed, what they mean and how Nahuatl permeated all the world's other languages (English, Spanish, French…).
