Experience the best of Mexico with a day trip from Mexico City. Visit the pyramids of Teotihuacan, enjoy a hot air balloon ride (optional not included), and savor a traditional Mexican bread, coffee & mole at a family home.
Start your day by meeting your guide in the heart of La Condesa at Parque México at 7:30 AM. Then, drive for 50 minutes to your guide's grandmother's house where your guide's family will be waiting with a traditional Mexican breakfast. Savor a cup of cafe de olla, hot chocolate, Mexican tea, and pan de dulce.
With your belly full, head to the pyramids of Teotihuacan. Learn about the ancient civilizations who built the pyramids and see how beautiful the site was in its prime with the help of your guide's expertise & iPad visuals.
After burning some calories, return to your guide's grandmother's house to share a traditional Mexican lunch. Try the red and green mole, which has been in your guide's family for 3 generations. The green mole is your guide's mother's creation.
For dessert, enjoy a pulque tasting. Try 4 kinds of pulque, including distilled versions, that your guide's family proudly produces. Finally, return to Mexico City, arriving between 3 and 3:30 PM.
