2-Day Terelj Winter Adventure: Dog and Horse Sledding

Embark on a 2-day winter adventure in Terelj National Park from Ulaanbaatar. Enjoy dog sledding, horse-drawn sledding, and a visit to a nomadic family, and stay overnight in a deluxe ger camp.
Day 1: Chinggis Khaan Statue, Nomadic Culture & Snow Activities

Depart from your hotel at 8:30 AM and head to the magnificent Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue. After a brief visit planned around the shorter winter daylight hours, continue to Terelj National Park.

Around midday, visit a local Mongolian nomadic family and enjoy a traditional homemade lunch along with their warm hospitality. In the afternoon, experience the excitement of dog sledding and horse-drawn sledding across the snowy landscape.

At 5:30 PM, check in to a comfortable deluxe ger camp equipped with heating and private shower facilities. After dinner, enjoy a magical stargazing experience beneath Mongolia’s clear winter sky.

Day 2: Scenic Rock Formations, Temple Visit & Return to Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, explore Turtle Rock, one of Terelj’s most iconic natural landmarks, followed by a visit to Aryabal Meditation Temple, nestled in the mountains. After enjoying the region’s beautiful nature and Buddhist culture, return to Ulaanbaatar at approximately 10:30 AM.
