Embark on a 3-day spiritual retreat from Ulaanbaatar. Visit the Khamriin Khiid Monastery, meditate at the Energy Mandala, and take part in a power activation ritual at the King’s Seat.
Day 1: Night Train to Sainshand
Meet at the UB Railway Station and board the train to Sainshand. Spend the night on the train, enjoying a quiet night, desert lights, and relaxation.
Day 2: Arrival in Sainshand & Khamriin Khiid Spiritual Day
Arrive in Sainshand and meet your guide at the station. Transfer to the town center for a hot breakfast and coffee. Get an orientation on your journey into the Mandala.
Drive to Khamriin Khiid, taking in the desert morning landscapes. Learn about Danzan Ravjaa and Shambhala through storytelling. Visit the Shambhala Energy Mandala and participate in a guided meditation called “Opening the First Gate.” Walk the Mandala spiral and explore the Magic Energy Point, 108 Stupas, and Wish Hill.
Enjoy lunch at a spiritual ger camp. In the afternoon, visit the main Khamriin Khiid complex. Opt to visit the Danzan Ravjaa Museum, or take free time for rest, journaling, or a photo session.
As the sun sets, participate in a desert sunset meditation and an optional “Fire & Sky” ceremony with a morin khuur performance. Spend the night at a spiritual ger camp near Khamriin Khiid.
Day 3: Choir Bogd Mountain & The King’s Seat of Power
Begin the day with a sunrise meditation at the Energy Mandala, focusing on early morning energy activation and deep grounding practices. After breakfast at the camp, drive to Choir, enjoying the scenic transition from desert to steppe.
Arrive at Choir Bogd Mountain and take a light hike to the King’s Seat. Participate in an empowerment ritual, sitting upon the King’s Seat and engaging in a guided meditation called “Rise to Your Next Level.” Practice power activation breathing.
Have lunch at Choir before driving back to Ulaanbaatar, arriving in the evening.
