Trip to hike Ijen Volcano from Banyuwangi City, such as transport and local guide, shared group tours for a more your experience to enjoy the beautiful of Ijen Crater and phenomenon of bluefire.
The trip was started at 00:00 am, our driver will pick you up at the specified locations (hotel, homestay, harbour, train station, etc). Depart from Banyuwangi City to Ijen Volcano parking area (around 1 hour drive), ensuring you're well-prepared with a medical check-up (for getting the Healthy Certificate) at the local clinic before arrived at Ijen parking area.
Upon reaching Ijen parking area, you'll meet with our local guide there, take a moment to relax (enjoy the coffee or meals at traditional resto) and receive a briefing before start hiking.
At 2:00 am you'll start the hiking around 3 kilometers from start point to the summit. After you reach the summit, you need to going down around 500 meters to the crater to see the phenomenon of bluefire before the sun is rising and seeing the activity of sulfur minings.
Afterward going back up to the summit, take some time to chill on the summit of Ijen Volcano, soaking in the panoramic view of the lake as the sun illuminates the landscape.
By 6:00 am, head back to the parking area for a well-deserved rest after the hike, before beginning the journey back to Banyuwangi City. Stop to the Jagir Waterfall, walking around 200 meters, enjoying the fresh air and waterfall. Back to the car. Continuing driving. Arriving at Banyuwangi City area around 9:00 am, marks the end of your unforgettable Ijen trip, leaving you with cherished memories of this extraordinary adventure.
