Combine a dirt bike with a snowmobile and you get something completely different - a snowbike. Lighter, more agile and more thrilling than anything else on snow, snowbikes can sidehill, climb and carve through terrain that snowmobiles simply cannot touch. And Snowmoto is the only place in New Zealand where you can ride one.

Based at Robrosa Station in the stunning Cardrona Valley, high in the Southern Alps between Queenstown and Wanaka, this guided snowbike experience is built for riders who want maximum thrills without a full day commitment. Wide-open alpine terrain, breathtaking mountain views, and a rush that stays with you long after you're back in town.

Never ridden a bike before? No worries. Your guide starts with a thorough safety briefing and induction before you hit the snow, and beginner-friendly KLX110 and KLX300 snowbikes are available for those just starting out. Ready to go harder? Step up to the high-performance KX450 for the full Snowmoto experience. Groups are kept small and every session is tailored to your skill level.

Choose the session that suits your day - a morning departure or an afternoon departure runs daily throughout the season.

All hire gear is available on the day, and avalanche safety equipment is supplied in your backpack. Please bring water and high-energy snacks for the ride.

Free return road transport is included from Frankton New World Supermarket, near Queenstown Airport. Want to skip the 1.5-hour drive and arrive in the mountains in just 15 minutes? Upgrade to a scenic helicopter transfer.
