Your 2.5-hour journey through Leipzig's lively craft beer scene begins in the heart of the Südvorstadt – a district full of creative energy and culinary diversity. Right at the start, you'll immerse yourself in the history and present of the brewing craft and enjoy your first hand-picked beer – perhaps a fruity pale ale or a classic lager. Your guide, a trained beer sommelier, will take you to a total of five tasting stations, including a specialist beer shop and a real craft brewery, where you can take a look behind the scenes. There you will learn how hops, malt, water, and yeast are turned into small works of art – and how to enjoy them with all your senses. Between stops, you'll learn exciting facts about beer styles, brewing history, and Leipzig's beer tradition. The grand finale is a visit to a cozy craft beer bar, where you can sample your last beer in a relaxed atmosphere – and maybe even discover your new favorite beer.
