With local guides leading the way, you’ll enjoy breathtaking nature, hear stories from life in the North, and bring home not only lasting memories, but also a deeper understanding of Arctic life.

We’ll meet outside Scandic The Dock in Tromsø city center, where your guide will share the plan for the day before we set off on a short scenic drive into the snowy landscapes locals call their backyard.

At the trailhead, you’ll get a thorough introduction to snowshoeing, making it easy and fun whether it’s your very first time on snow or you’re already experienced. From there, your guide will lead the way into the silence of the Arctic mountains.

The hike lasts around 2 - 2,5 hours, set at a suitable pace so everyone can enjoy the fresh air, dramatic views, and the feeling of true wilderness. With a maximum of 8 participants, the group stays personal and unhurried, giving plenty of space for questions and conversation. Along the way, your guide will offer tips about both Tromsø and Norway, and make sure everyone feels safe, included, and simply has a good time.

We’ll stop at a scenic spot along the trail to enjoy a simple outdoor lunch with a view. Here, your guide will serve some hot drinks together with some traditional Norwegian snacks. Everything we serve comes from local suppliers, giving you an authentic taste of the region while supporting the community. As always, we leave no trace to protect the nature.

To make your experience even more memorable, your guide will capture moments from the tour with a professional camera. Within 72 hours, you’ll receive a private digital album with your photos, a thoughtful gesture that lets you relive the memories in peace and share your Arctic adventure with friends and family.
