Pickup begins from Rotorua iSite at 9:00am.

Start your adventure, make a quick stop at the nearby Mud Pool, one of the largest and most active mud pools in the region. Watch the thick, boiling mud bubble and burst — an endlessly entertaining and completely free natural phenomenon.

Continue your adventure with the spectacular Lady Knox Geyser show at 10:15 AM, where a natural eruption shoots hot water up to 20 meters high into the air — a truly unique experience.

After the geyser display, explore (Self-Guided Walk) the surreal beauty of Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Wonderland at your own pace. Famous for its vibrant Champagne Pool, bubbling mud, steaming grounds, and colorful mineral terraces, Wai-O-Tapu feels like stepping onto another planet. Follow the well-marked walking tracks (choose between short and extended loops) to discover all the best features, including the Artist’s Palette, Primrose Terrace, and the Devil’s Bath with its shocking neon-green water.

Before wrapping up your geothermal adventure, take a relax moment by having a coffee, or ice cream (At your own cost) in the Wai O Tapu Cafe, until rest of the participants gather at the sit out outside.

After enjoying the three tracks walking, Return Journey to Rotorua begins around 12:30pm after all the participants arrive at the pickup point in Wai O Tapu
