Start your day with a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Admire the mosque's stunning architecture, including the 5 minarets and the prayer hall. See the prayer carpet, which covers the floor of the prayer hall and contains 1,700,000,000 knots.
Continue to Wadi Shab, an enormous canyon gorge lined with palm trees. Take a 35 to 40-minute walk and hike up through the canyon to reach one of the crystal-clear water pools. Swim through the warm waters from pool to pool, eventually reaching the last pool where an opening among the rocks allows you to swim into a crevice cave with a small waterfall.
After enjoying your time in Wadi Shab, stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, make your way to Fins Beach, a pebbly beach with turquoise waters and a cool breeze. Relax on the beach before continuing to Bimmah Sinkhole.
Swim in the sinkhole's turquoise waters, which is 50 meters by 70 meters wide and approximately 20 meters deep. The sinkhole was formed by a collapse of the surface layer due to the dissolution of the underlying limestone.
