From Puno || Excursion to Copacabana and Sun Island ||

Enjoy a ride on the beautiful Lake Titicaca, visit the city of Copacabana and the magical Isla del Sol.
This tour will begin with pickup from your hotel in Puno (near or within the historic center) at 6:00 am, we will go by collective bus (the bus will be with other people who will not do the tour) in this bus it will leave you nearby to the Copacabana plaza which is located in Bolivia.

The guide will come to pick you up at this place and we will cross the border and arrive at our destination around 11:00 am. Once there, we will take the walking tour contemplating the façade of the 17th century Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria and discover why this city is an important pilgrimage site in that country.

After visiting this wonderful place we will go to lunch that includes a chicken or trout dish. Later we will go to the port where a boat will be waiting for us that will take us to the nearby Isla del Sol.

Upon disembarking we will begin a guided tour of approximately two hours, we will walk throughout the place and delve into the origins of the Inca culture, admiring the ancient sanctuaries. After our visit to Isla del Sol we will take the boat again to return to the city of Copacabana. You will board the bus to return and the mobility will leave you at the Puno land terminal at approximately 8:30 pm.
