Your experience begins in Cajamarca at approximately 9:00 AM, where you will meet your guide before traveling toward Abra del Gavilán. At this scenic viewpoint, stop to enjoy panoramic views of Cajamarca and the surrounding countryside. Take photographs, admire the changing landscape, and learn from your guide about the area before continuing into the countryside.
Next, travel to Yumagual Waterfall, one of the most distinctive natural stops on this route. Here, you will see warm thermal waters emerging from the ground and meeting the cooler waters of the river, creating a striking natural contrast. Your guide will explain the characteristics of the area and the role of its thermal waters.
