Embark on a 2-day adventure from Arequipa to Cusco. Visit the Cruz del Cóndor, the Colca Canyon, and the Colca Valley. Admire the natural beauty of the Colca Canyon and the Colca Valley.
Day 1:
Start your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Arequipa. Head to the Cruz del Cóndor, stopping only for breakfast. Arrive at the Cruz del Cóndor and admire the view of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world.
On your way back, stop at the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque, which have beautiful colonial churches. Visit the Antahuilque and Choquetico viewpoints, where you can see pre-Inca tombs and models and the beautiful landscape of the Colca Valley.
See the traditional costumes, camels, and trained birds, and try traditional drinks such as Colca Sour. Stop for lunch in Chivay and then head to the Chacapi hot springs. Relax in the natural pools or enjoy the beautiful views.
Choose from a range of adventure activities such as canopy, ATV, or kayaking. Afterward, head to your hotel in Chivay. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2:
Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Chivay. Head to the high part of the Colca Valley, passing through traditional towns like Tuti and Sibayo. Stop to admire the impressive Callalli castles, rock formations that look like medieval castles formed by water and wind erosion.
Pass by the Condoroma Dam and the Stone Forest in Yauri. Continue to Cusco, stopping at the Langui Lagoon, a 25-kilometer natural mirror. Stop in Sicuani for lunch before passing through Andahuaylillas and Urcos. Arrive in Cusco in the late afternoon.
