The tour begins at our Sky dome Peru located in Chinchero, just 45 minutes from Cusco, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by Cidelia, your guide throughout this magical experience. With her kindness and vibrant energy, she will introduce you to our beloved llamas and alpacas, each with its own name, age, and unique personality. You’ll have time to meet them, pet them, learn how they interact, and take unforgettable photos as you connect with the peaceful spirit of the Sacred Valley. After this introduction, you’ll have the chance to dress in traditional Andean clothing, a fun and authentic way to embrace the culture and create beautiful pictures with the animals and the mountains as your backdrop.

Once ready, we begin a gentle one-hour downhill walk toward the Machu qolca Archaeological Center, surrounded by breathtaking scenery: the Vilcabamba and Vilcanota mountain ranges, the majestic Salkantay, the elegant Verónica, and the picturesque farmlands of the Andes. This walk is perfect for travelers looking to acclimatize to the altitude, as it is short, very easy, and done at a relaxed pace—an ideal warm-up for those preparing for bigger treks like the Inca Trail, the 5-day Salkantay Trek, or any multi-day hike in the region. The route is suitable for children, adults, and seniors, as long as they do not have back problems or difficulty walking.

Upon arriving at Machu Colca, you’ll discover a peaceful, energetic, and rarely visited archaeological site, where you’ll have time to explore freely, take photos with the alpacas, and enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. After your visit, we return to Skydome Peru with another gentle one-hour walk, always accompanied by Cidelia, who ensures every moment is enjoyable, friendly, and full of connection with nature. This entire experience is designed to be exciting, authentic, and deeply memorable—an unforgettable day in the heart of the Sacred Valley.
