The Tatio Geysers are one of the highest geyser fields in the world. Located in the Andes cordillera to the NE of San Pedro de Atacama, it is the largest group of geysers in the southern hemisphere and the third largest in the world, after Yellowstone (USA) and Dolina Giezerow (Russia).
Watch the maximum expression of these geysers begin at dawn, with temperatures reaching 85°C. On the way back, observe wildlife such as vicuñas, llamas, ñandúes, vizcachas, etc. While in the flora, giant cacti, llaretas, coirón, etc. stand out.
Observe from a viewpoint, the small ancestral village of Machuca, its few inhabitants are mainly engaged in pastoralism and cheese production. Very close to the place is the Salty Lagoon where flamingos, ducks and seagulls families live with an imposing landscape of beauty.
