From Iquitos: Boat trip on the Amazon and Itaya Rivers

Would you like to take a boat ride on the Amazon and Itaya rivers? If you are in Iquitos, you can't miss this excursion where we will also visit an animal farm and a serpentarium.
We will pick you up at your accommodation in Iquitos and then enjoy the boat ride.
Once at the Iquitos pier, we will embark on a trip down the Amazon River to explore the nature that surrounds this northern Peruvian city. Are you ready?

We will board a traditional boat and take a boat ride along the confluence of the Amazon and Itaya rivers. During the tour, we will discover all the secrets and stories of these rivers, as well as admire the fascinating views of the flora and fauna that inhabit the area.

To learn more about this ecosystem, we will visit an animal farm, where we will see lizards, fish such as piranhas and paiches, turtles and the main species of Amazonian flora, the victoria regia. Afterwards, we will navigate to a viewpoint to enjoy a different perspective of the rivers.

We will complete the tour by approaching the Amazon serpentarium, a natural sanctuary where snakes of different types and sizes are bred. In addition, we will learn all about the life of these reptiles, one of the most feared in the Peruvian jungle.

Finally, we will sail back to the starting point and finish the boat ride on the Amazon and Itaya rivers after a total of five to six hours.
