The five days are one of the favorite tours in Manu Jungle Peru. Offers most of the Peruvian Amazon without sacrificing time.
Day 1:
We leave Cusco at 4:30 am in our private transportation, we immerse ourselves in the Cloud Forest of Manu National Park. We will also visit our hummingbird garden, you can see many varieties of jungle hummingbirds, all of them in their natural habitat - photo lovers.
In the afternoon we will arrive to Atalaya (boat port). Here our trip by car ends and we take our river transport.
Day 2:
We take a smaller boat called "Pekepeke" for the sound of the motor (canoe adventure) for a 3 hour cruise up river and follow the Palotoa river until we reach the Alto Madre de Dios (sky bed camp).
For lunch our chef surprises us with different Amazonian dishes.
After enjoying our delicious lunch, we will go on an adventure walk in the jungle for approximately 3 hours.
We will also look for insects, frogs, endemic snake (Bushmaster) that can measure up to 6 meters long, snake (rainbow boa), black anaconda, green boa, night monkey (Aotus miconax), etc.
On this second night, you will live a unique experience spending the night in logde Manu.
Day 3:
Today, after breakfast, we will hike through the jungle in the Madre de Dios River area. After dinner, the different sounds of the Amazonian night will animate our night walk: we will listen to the sounds of the nocturnal monkeys - the only nocturnal primates in the Amazon.
Day 4:
This day we continue the wildlife observation tour, with the first light of day very early at 5:00 am we head to the parrot clay lick to observe the dazzling spectacle of hundreds of parrots and large macaws eating clay.
In the afternoon we will trek through the jungle up to a lookout point. Along the way we will see different types of jungle like the bamboo forest and we will see the biggest tree we have in the Peruvian Amazon, the Caiba tree.
Day 5:
After breakfast, return from the Manu Jungle to Cusco. We return to Cusco through the cloud forest and Paucartambo. We drop you off at your hotel, we can also drop you off directly at the airport in case you have a connecting flight.
We recommend taking your connecting flight after 8:00 pm.
