From Puno:Full-Day Tour to Uros and Amantani Islands + Lunch

6:00 AM We pick up people arriving by bus from other cities in Peru at the bus terminal to take them to the office or a restaurant for breakfast.
7:00 AM Transfer from the hotel or Airbnb to the lake pier in Puno.
7:35 AM Departure from the pier in Puno for the lake excursion to the floating islands of the Uros. From the pier in Puno to the floating islands of the Uros there is a distance of 30 minutes by tourist boat. The Ureños live in country houses built on totora platforms, which do not exceed 30 to 40 cm in thickness, where we can learn about the culture and traditions of the Uros, since each island houses around 5 to 6 families.
10:30 AM We will continue to Amantani Island
On the boat trip you will be able to appreciate the
natural beauty of the Sacred Lake of the Incas where its inhabitants are
characterized by preserving their culture of beliefs, customs and
traditions; expressing them through their clothing, rites, religion, etc.
12:00 AM. We arrive at Amantani Island, then
you will be able to observe the typical clothing of the inhabitants
of Amantani and the country houses, the square where we will see their
customs, traditions, their textiles,
their culture, since this island is recognized as a National Heritage for the experiential tourism
that the place offers us, apart from a beautiful landscape.
3:00 PM Return to the lake port of Puno.
5:00 PM. End of the tour at the hotels, Plaza de Armas
