On the day of your tour, it is advisable to rise early to meet your guide at the Palompon Tourism Office by 6 AM. Following registration, you will embark on a boat that will transport you to Kalanggaman Island, with the journey taking approximately one hour.
Kalanggaman Island is renowned for its bird-like shape and its remarkable 795-meter-long white sandbar, which is a breathtaking sight and one of the premier tourist destinations in the Visayas region.
During your stay, you will have ample free time to explore the island at your leisure. You may choose to swim in the refreshing waters, take a leisurely walk along the sandbar to feel the soft sand beneath your feet, or relax in a cottage while enjoying the picturesque views. For those interested in water activities such as jet skiing, kayaking, or banana boat riding, these options are available for an additional fee on-site. You are also welcome to bring your own snorkeling equipment or rent gear to discover the vibrant marine life in the surrounding waters.
At noon, you will partake in a boodle feast lunch to replenish your energy for the remainder of the day. After lunch, you are free to continue enjoying the island as you wish. However, please ensure that you return to the docking area by 2:30 PM, as your boat is scheduled to depart for the mainland at that time. Your tour will conclude with your return to the Palompon Tourism Office.

To fully enjoy this 2-day trip, it's essential to start your journey early from Cebu, as it takes approximately 3.5 hours to drive to Maya port. The rates for optional add-ons already include round-trip costs.
To ensure a comfortable stay, make your accommodation reservations on Malapascua Island, as overnight lodging is available there. Alternatively, you can choose to add it here, and we will take care of arranging your hostel for you.

CEBU MEET-UP: On the day of your tour, please wait in your hotel lobby. Our driver will be there to greet you, holding a sign with your name on it.
Guests whose preferred meeting point is MAYA Port should wait at the Tourism Office. Following your booking, we will communicate all instructions via email.
