Your first stop is Lagos, a town rich in both natural beauty and history. Visit the iconic beaches of Praia Dona Ana, Praia do Camilo, and the spectacular Ponta da Piedade, where centuries of ocean erosion have sculpted arches, cliffs, and grottoes into the limestone coastline.
Next, explore Lagos Old Town, once a Moorish settlement from the 8th century, later reclaimed during the 13th-century Reconquista.
