The bus ride from Puerto Plata to Punta Rucia takes about 2.5 hours. It's a scenic ride through the Dominican countryside.
Important Notice: There are no palm trees or natural shade on Cayo Arena. We strongly recommend wearing a hat, sunglasses, and high SPF sunscreen.
If you're prone to seasickness, we suggest taking a pill for it 1 hour before boarding the boat.
