Discover Romania's beautiful countryside and history on a full-day trip to the legendary Transylvania to see the castle that inspired Dracula's legend, and to explore its diverse cultural influences.
Escape the chaos of Bucharest on this full-day tour to Transylvania. Following a hotel pick-up, travel through Carpathian Mountains to the mountain town of Sinaia, where you will explore the medieval Peles Castle. Continue to beautiful Sinaia Monastery, an excellent example of late 17th-Century architecture, and famous for the magnificent art it contains.
Journey to Bran Castle, famously thought to be the home of, and inspiration for, Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula.
After a late lunch, we drive to Brasov were you will enjoy the best sites of old Brasov, including Council Square, Council Tower, Weavers' Bastion, the Black Church, and more.
The Black Church is a perfect embodiment of the Gothic reputation that surrounds Transylvania. For those who enjoy more history, there will also a pass by the Schei Romanian District with its first Romanian school in Transylvania and St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
Return to Bucharest through the Carpathian Mountains, arriving back in the city at approximately 8 pm.

• Please note that in Romania, museums are usually closed on Mondays, except the Bran Castle is opening at noon time.
• Peles Castle at Sinaia is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. During summer season it is opened on Tuesday for a shorter program.
• Please note that in November the Peles Castle in Sinaia will be replace by the Pelisor Castle.
• Blackout dates: Easter, Christmas, and New Year Holidays.
• Some of the sites could be closed on the national holidays and will be reconfirmed before the tour started.
• Please check the weather forecast to take appropriate clothing.
