On your first day, you arrive in San Salvador and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is completely yours — take a refreshing dip in the pool, explore a nearby neighborhood, visit a local restaurant for your first taste of Salvadoran food, or simply rest and get ready for the adventures ahead. No itinerary, no rush — just settle in and enjoy.


On day two, your adventure begins early in the morning when you leave San Salvador in a private, air-conditioned vehicle heading west toward the Route of Flowers. Your first stop is Juayúa, a charming colonial town where the famous weekend Food Fair fills the streets with the irresistible aromas of Salvadoran home cooking — from grilled meats and fresh seafood to sweet plantains and handmade pupusas. You'll stroll through the market, taste local flavors, and soak in the lively atmosphere before continuing to Apaneca, one of the coolest towns in the country. The day wraps up in the colorful streets of Ataco, where giant murals cover the walls and local artisans sell handmade textiles, ceramics, and wooden crafts.

On day three, after breakfast at your hotel, you head to the slopes of Santa Ana Volcano — Ilamatepec — the highest volcano in El Salvador. Your certified guide leads you along a well-marked trail through cloud forest, past steaming fumaroles and volcanic rock formations, until the crater opens up before you: a stunning turquoise-green lagoon sitting silently at the summit. After descending, you drive just minutes to Lake Coatepeque, a brilliant blue crater lake surrounded by lush hills, where you swim and relax before heading out for lunch at any restaurant of your choice (not included). A comfortable private transfer then brings you back to San Salvador.

Your fourth day takes you south to Costa del Sol, where the Pacific Ocean meets a long stretch of calm, shallow beach. After breakfast at your hotel, you arrive to find soft sand, gentle waves, and the warm Salvadoran sun — the perfect setting for families with young children. When hunger strikes, head to any of the local seaside restaurants for a fresh seafood meal of your choice (not included) before your private transfer brings you back to San Salvador.

Day five is all yours.
