Hi, there I am Nelson your perfect guide, born and raised in Santa Ana, El Salvador. Passionate about languages, Speaking Spanish, English, French and Nahuat the indigenous language of El Salvador, I am ready to provide a truly local experience for you.
I will pick you up at your place around 7:30am, We will stop by one of the best local coffee shops in town, then continue driving for about 30 minutes to have a local breakfast with a beautiful view of the lake. After breakfast , we'll get ready to start our hike our hike up Ilamatepec, also known as Santa ana volcano. We'll hike for about an hour and half, surrounded by amazing views while learning about the history and important facts about the volcano. The trail will lead us to the top of Ilamatepec, where you'll experience its unique turquoise-colored crater and perfect view.
After a nice rest at the top, we will begin our descent, continuing all the way down to Lake Coatepeque. There, we will take a refreshing swim to cool off in the beautiful water with more perfect views.
