Barcelona: Tour: Mussels, Rice Plantation and Paella

An unforgettable trip from Salou to the heart of the Ebro Delta, the production of mussels and oysters, explore landscapes and immerse yourself in the culture, enjoying its gastronomy and rice cultivation.
We will start our trip from your hotel in Salou at the agreed time, heading towards our first stop, the port of L'Ampolla, on a journey of approximately 45 minutes.
At the port of L'Ampolla, we will board a boat for a unique experience in the Delta de l'Ebre, where you will be able to see up close how mussels and oysters are produced. This activity includes a boat ride along the beaches of the municipality, starting at Avellanes beach, followed by Playa dels Capellans, and culminating at the cliffs of Cap Roig. You will enjoy spectacular views and a historical perspective of the region.
The next destination will take us to the mussel and oyster production center in the Delta de l'Ebre Natural Park. Here, you can visit a floating restaurant in the bay and a museum with local products. You will have the opportunity to taste fresh oysters and mussels, and if you wish, enjoy a delicious paella or fideuá prepared with local ingredients.
After this maritime experience, we will return to the mainland and head to the port of Sant Carles de la Rapita, famous for its picturesque atmosphere and fishing tradition. Time to have a Paella Marinera in a typical fishermen's bar.
Our last stop will be the Rice Museum "Molí de Rafelet" where we will have a guided visit. Here, you will learn about rice cultivation, sun drying and the milling process, from the husk to the white rice. This museum offers a complete overview of the importance of rice in the local gastronomy and culture of the Delta de l'Ebre.
Finally, we will return to Salou, completing a day full of history, culture and flavors. We will drop you off at your hotel, concluding a day full of discoveries and unforgettable experiences.
